This intro to backpacking trip begins with a hike into the backcountry and day trips from a basecamp. While challenging, youth will enjoy plenty of time for games, instruction, and reflection/nature appreciation.
Throughout the trip, campers gain important lessons and knowledge about staying safe in the wilderness and keeping the wilderness wild.
This trip is best for students going into 6th Grade.

Discovery - an intermediate trip for students who have some back country experience This camp will combine the lessons and skills learned from the beginner trip and the challenging route from the advanced trip.
This trip is best for 7-8th Graders.

This is a physically and mentally challenging expedition where participants can expect to learn self-sufficiency, further their backpacking skills and become stewards of the land. Campers must have done a course with us, extensive personal experience, or a trip with another organization that is similar.
This trip builds off the beginner and advanced trips. It is either a trip up and over a mountain pass, or a plateau, or even a mix of both!
